Anita Barone

Barone performs as a character in The Shoes (Seinfeld 4th season) in the role of Gail Cunningham. A chef who is looking for Elaine Benes's shoes. Barone was part of the cast for the television show Carol & Company in early 1990s, alongside actress Carol Burnett. Barone was the actress's ex-wife in her first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show to pursue her full-time job. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in its first season (from 1995 until 1996) as well as in The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. In 2000 Barone played a part in the sitcom Daddio. Barone's other television credits include Desperate Housewives: Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone received the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her performance as One Last Ride. Barone's role as a regular in the Disney Channel show Shake It Up was first introduced in the year 2010, just three years after The War at Home finished it's running. She played Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's actor husband, guest-starred in 2 episodes on Shake It Up in the role as J.J. Jones.
