Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for an TKO win in the second round. She continued her dominance and scored an even stunning victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the first round she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. Both the fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
